People are divided since the Truth is torn into Left and Right

The war between political Left and Right can be traced back to the era of French Revolution, when members of the National Assembly were divided into supporters of the king sitting on the right, and supporters of the revolution sitting on the left.

This was explained by a deputy who was a French noble : "We began to recognize each other: those who were loyal to religion and the king took up positions to the right of the chair so as to avoid the shouts, oaths, and indecencies that enjoyed free rein in the opposing camp".

Since then, the political Right generally represents godly beliefs, loyalty to the established order, traditional moral codes, and arrogance of the nobles, while the political Left contains the seeds of universal values, social equality, democracy, radicalism, and atheism.

This division is problematic from the very beginning, as it tears God’s holy teaching into Left and Right, and then adds fallacies to both sides. If a person has faith in God, values traditional morality, cares about the poor, and supports universal values, where is his position ? Should he choose the Left or the Right ?

The Bible says :

• (A Song of degrees.) Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us. [ Psalms 123:1 - 2 KJV ]

• Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. [ Psalms 24:7 - 8 KJV ]

• Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. [ Matthew 6:19 - 21 KJV ]

• It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes. [ Psalms 118:8 - 9 KJV ]

• Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. [ 1 John 2:15 - 17 KJV ]

The Bible also says :

• As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. [ 1 Peter 1:14 - 16 KJV ]

• He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? [ Micah 6:8 KJV ]

• Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. [ Isaiah 1:16 - 17 ]

The Bible also says :

• For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  [ Galatians 5:13 - 14 KJV ]

• Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. [ Psalms 82:3 - 4 KJV ]

• For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? [ James 2:2 - 4KJV ] 

• Thus saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place. [ Jeremiah 22:3 KJV ]

• For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward: He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment. Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. [ Deuteronomy 10:17 - 19 KJV ]

• Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward. [ Isaiah 58:7 - 8 KJV ]

Faith in God, justice and morality, universal benevolence and unconditional love - all these are taught by God as a whole, they belong to neither the Left nor the Right.

The division between political Left and Right enables an endless war, as both sides have a part of the Truth and a lot of errors. - If either side contains only the truth, it may quickly defeat the other. Only when both sides are mixtures of truth and errors, can they attract different people and trap them into an endless war against each other.

Communism promises that it can turn the human world into a heaven without God, while some so-called conservatives claim they believe in God but oppose social welfare, social equality and universal values. They both attract people with a part of the Truth, and ruin the world with the erroneous ideas they uphold. The war between the Left and the Right will not end, until we reunite the Truth and make it complete again.
